Q. Are Yak and WIND the same company or different companies?
A.Yak and WIND Mobile are members of the Globalive Group of Companies however; your home phone and high speed Internet services are provided directly from Yak and your mobile services and hardware are provided directly by WIND Mobile. Yak Pak pricing includes a discount on your monthly spend which will be shown on your monthly invoice from Yak.

Q. Who do I pay at the end of each month?
A.Each month Yak Pak customers with mobile services will receive two invoices. One for home phone and high speed Internet service from Yak which must be paid directly to Yak through available payment options and a second bill for WIND Mobile services from WIND Mobile which will need to be paid in full to WIND through available payment options.

Q. Is there a variance in discount depending on which Wind Mobile service I add to my Yak Bundle?
A.No! You will still enjoy your $10.00 off for any Wind Mobile service added to a new Yak Pak.

Q. Do I get the discount if I already have a Yak Pak?
A.Yes! We’re extending this exciting new offer to our loyal customers as well as new ones. Simply speak with a Yak customer service representative and let them know you’re interested in added a WIND Mobile plan to your existing Yak Pak.

Q. What if I need to cancel one of my bundled services?
A.You don’t have to worry about contracts with Yak or with Wind Mobile. If you would like to cancel your home phone or high speed Internet service simply contact Yak customer service. If you would like to cancel your Wind mobile service contact a Wind customer service representative. Your monthly bill will change to reflect current pricing for your remaining services. For example if you bundle Yak Home Phone, Yak High Speed and a Wind mobile plan you will receive at $10.00 discount each month however, there is no discount applied to your monthly invoice if you cancel any one of the services.

Q. If my bundle is with two different providers how are my services set up?
A.It’s simple and quick! Yak will set you up on all your services including your Wind Mobile account. Once complete. Wind Mobile will mail your mobile device of choice directly to your residence within three to five business days. Once received you can call Wind Mobile and activate your account.

Q. Does Yak offer electronic invoicing?
A.Yes, retrieve your invoice through our Self Care site, which allows you to sort and save all of your invoices, as well as update contact information. Or contact Yak Customer Service Department at 1-800-490-7235 to make the switch today. Limited time offer. View contest detail here.

Q. Is there a charge for receiving a paper invoice?
A.Yes, an administrative charge of $1.95 per month applies if you choose to receive a paper invoice. Help save trees and your money with online billing with Yak. If you're an existing customer, click here to switch to online invoice retrieval.

Q. Are there any taxes or other government fees that I should know about?
A.Your Yak services are subject to both federal (GST) and provincial taxes (in those provinces where such taxes are applicable), with the exception of Yak High Speed Internet service, which is exempt from provincial tax. For more information on taxes or government, please contact our friendly Customer Service Department.

Q. How do you protect my payment information?
A. The information submitted on our web site is protected by the highest level of industry-standard SSL encryption. All of the credit card or chequing account information received by Yak is encrypted and stored on our secure billing servers. -

A. Yes, you'll always receive your invoice approximately 10 business days before any payments are processed.
