The federal government's decision Friday to allow Globalive Wireless Management Corp. to offer cellphone service in Canada will create 100 new jobs in Windsor, says the company's chairman and chief executive officer.
Globalive expects to hire another 100 employees at its Windsor call centre over the next two years and offer the cellphone service here by the late spring of 2010, said Anthony Lacavera.
